KORV STROGANOFF

Dude, i was checking out some recipes, and i wanted to make "korv stroganoff" (sausage stroganoff) and then i realized that we don't have the famous swedish sausage "Falu korv" here!!! I want everything with falukorv now. Korv stroganoff, Falu korv in the oven, just plain fried freakin falukorv, cold raw falukov on Hönö kaka!!!

Samoyed have been my favorite dog breed since i was very small and borrowed "all about dogs" from the library. After I came to SF and lived with Lego, the Labrador, Labs and Golden retrievers kinda took over the spot. But guess what- I think I'm back to Samoyeds again. Just look at him!!! Like a little fluffy polar bear!
As soon as we get a bigger place, I'm getting myself one of these!
Samoyeds are often called "Sammy smile" or "smiley dog". You might guess why, they alway look like theyre smiling! How cute isnt that??

The news about my idol, the biggest artist of all time, The great Michael Jackson was dead, struck me hard.
I didn't believe it first. I didn't want to. But somehow it made sense. Of course this was going to be the way he died. Of stress, pain and agony. He has been hunted his whole life. He stressed his whole life. He was sad, lonely, and hated. It takes a toll on ones heart. That what happens to people who are bullied. Bullied to death.
It striked me when we came home and watched it on the news.
I cried. I cried and cried.
Its so tragic. It's like loosing a friend.

I grew up with M.J. He has been a part of my life.
I Learned his dance moves, made dance combinations to his songs. I had a crush on him. I watched everything on TV with him. Man, i loved him! I felt with him. I felt his pain.
I Got upset when i read mean things about him. Rumours.
This man, is a loss to the whole world. He stood for love and peace on earth. His songs were about that. His whole personality.

Unfortunately, he had a vitiligo, that made him white. But sadly, yet today, Some people refuse to believe it.
Unfortunately he had bad self-esteem and started to operate his nose.
Unfortunately, GROWN UPS were too mean unreliable and judging for him so he chose to hang out with children instead. Which in some strange way in some hateful and mean peoples eyes made him a pedophile.
Unfortunately, there are people in this world who believe what media and the magazines say. In my eyes, they are idiots, but you know, It's not even really their fault. They just don't know better. They are not smart. Not very intelligent. Not educated well. They obviously don't have a mind of their own.

It would be a better world, if people weren't so shallow and judged people for how they look. Sure, M.J looked weird. Creepy if u want. But does ones appearance make someone a pedophile? It's not fair.

All M.J wanted, was to make peace on earth. Help little kids. And get back the childhood he lost, and this by hanging out with Children. Because they are not corrupted and evil.
It makes me sick that people have dirty minds like that. It makes me sick that people are as mean as this.

I am ashamed of being a human being.

Everyone thinks that M.J is a bad father for "covering up" his children.
Well, in that case call me a bad mother, cause I would have done the same if i had 100 papparazzis around my kids 24/7. He just wants to protect them. He's just being a good father. He doesn't want them to be exploited like he was.

After seeing the memorial, and his daughter Paris sad words about her father... man, i hope there is a lot of people feeling guilty and regretful inside.

I love you Michael. Hope you finally find peace, hope you finally can have a childhood.
Your music will live on forever. Your soul and magic.
I hope your dream about peace on earth will come true one day.

Saris is here, week two

And, here comes week two. The week of Mon 29 june to Davids birthday on Thursday July 2nd. Los Angeles comes after. Too many photos to put in one posting!!

Monday June 29th

Pool in the during the day, then "transformers" in Japantown in the evening! The movie was the suckiest movie ever and i hate Megan Fox. I wanted to leave within the first 10 minutes Tuesday june 30th

Me and Sarah went to "Great america" amusement park. But man, we've gotten too old for this stuff. We were annoyed with all the stupid kids just running around, we complained on the heat and just felt like two 90yr olds!! We had fun though! It was just tireing!!

i think this was the most boring ride ever. Granpas cars on Liseberg is much better!

We tried to eat healthy, but in americas themeparks, its impossible. Hunger gave in and this is some kind of "chicken"

We felt like we gotten run over by trucks and dragged after them, in the end of the day

Wednesday 1st of July

Our big shoppingday! I told Sarah she would love the clothes on Macy's. Like most people, she thought it was expensive and snobby, so she said "Ok, we take take a quick round"
13 pieces of clothes and 3 hours later she was done. It was a shoppingparadise and even i shopped away with i think 9 bargains!

Time to party!!! Sarah had money sweats, and i had headache. We didnt feel like it, but we told Alex and Gabi the we would go for just one drink We went to the "bar street" only 4 blocks away where they have the cozy lounge "Matrix"

I "found" some Australians, or, they found me. I started a conversation about spiders.
"Woow, you're from Australia? I always wanted to go there, but a couple of weeks ago i saw a documentary on animal planet about funnel web spiders, and since then, i changed my mind"

They all laughed, what a way to start a conversation! But hey, at least i seemed like a brainy gal watching animal planet and all. There was 5 of them, and they seemed nice, so i told Alex, Bella, and poor Sarah who was being hit on by a weird guy that they should come and talk to them. Thats my job as a married woman. Matchmake others haha.

They were very nice though. Usually, when they find out that i'm married they just laugh and leave. Really rude. But these guys were different, even bought me drinks! (usually i just have to buy my own drinks because im married) and we, who were only supposed to take one drink, ended up at a V.I.P table with vodka bottles and tequila flowing.

Thursday 2nd of July

David, my little fluffy flumis 32nd birthday! did the last presentshopping in Japantown. Had an awesome lunch at a sushi boat place. i dont think Sarah can eat sushi in Sweden anymore. It is so much better and fresh here! Then we had to pack for L.A (we were supposed to leave when David came home)

Man, its been too long now, but who the hell has the time to blog when the best Saris is here! Busy schedule, but yet not stressful. I'll sum up week one June 22-28th

Monday

Saris came and visited me at my job. She got to meet my Sofia. We had a bike playdate at the playground with Bellis and Nate!

Haha, i have no memory of what we did this wednesday during the day! Scary! But in the evening Bella came to my place and we drank a little, then we headed out for a party night at Starlight room on the top of a skyscraper! Beautiful view!

Thursday

The day M.J died. We were at a shoppingmall with Bella when mama sms:ed me the news. Shock. Sadness. Later that night i cried.

We were so sad and tired to cook at home. We mourned M.Js death at a Thai resto

After watching all the terrible news about M.Js death ALL night, i fell asleep. This is what it usually looks like 11pm our place :-)

Friday

My last day at work. Sarah joined me and Sofia at Sofias swimminglesson. It was sad to leave my Sofia. Shes the best girl ever. I got a frame with a photos of us as a present, and a bonus!

Saturday

Started the day off at muir woods with the beautiful huuuge trees! After that we had an amazing "mojojojo"at our favourite sushi place.

The deers are not hunted here, so they are not scared of humans. This one had about 20 people close up photographing it. It just kept on doing its thing.
So, is it only me, or....? The famous "Mojojojo"

The night meant party, Sarah and me started off in Castro (it was pride weekend)
People dancing on the streets to songs of michael jackson. It must have been thousants of people there, under the stars! Sooo much fun!! After hanging there for a while we went to beauty bar in the mission where the guys were like horny monsters. A bit disusting, but me and Sarha had fun dancing. The place closed and after chasing after a cab for an hour (yes, an hour) we took a cab to Einars houseboat where there was an after party. Bella and Alex was there. We had fun there too, lay in a hammock and chatted under the stars. I love San Fran man.

Sunday

The day the pride parade was. But guess what, we missed it. Man, one can't party until 6am and be at a parade at 10.30. No way jose. Thats impossible.
We went to Japantown and checked out some stores, then we had dinner at our favourite morrocan place, and then we checked out what was left of the gay pride. Lots of people. Weird, strange funny people. I think the gays have been so humiliated, and hidden for so long, so now in this era, when its more acceptable to be gay, they come out totally extreme. Its fun to see. I love the gays man!

The evening jonas band "Era escape" had a show. They were so good!! Love it! I will give you a link to their myspace page one of these days.
Thats it. Week one. Only the other 2 weeks now then. That you'll have to wait for. (It has taken a week to write this god damn posting haha)
