Time flies, as usual!
2 weeks ago we went camping in gold country.
That's where the gold rush started! We were basically alone at the"Melones lake" camping and it was really cozy!

After we put up our tent we headed into first stop, Jamestown! We had lunch there and strolled around in the many antique shops. After that we went to Sonora, also a gold town. It was bigger, but still cute. The highlight of the day was our unplanned stop in Columbia state historic park, which one of the locals spoke of. W.O.W, I could live there.

The whole town looked like it did 100 yrs ago. The real wild west! And there are no cars allowed on the street. The women that worked in the shops had old dresses on and played the part.
We went back the day after for breakfast and to look in the stores during daytime. Then we also took a ride on the stagecoach! We got robbed by a cowboy too hihi.
At sunset we headed back to the camping for some hot dogs In front of the fire pit and looked at the stars. I love camping!!

The day after, after going to columbia for breakfast and doing the stagecoach thing, we tried looking for the spot where they filmed and had the Hill Valley set in back to the future 3. Unfortunately we didn't find it because I didn't have any internet connection on my phone and didn't print out directions... Well, next time for sure!
